I’ve been writing poems while looking at Sara’s sketch book. This one popped out. With thanks to Lewis Carroll!
‘Twas ‘Nillig, and the savagnola
Spired and glarbled aft my slake;
All rumsy were my conturbations
Mid the sorms dafts o’ertake.
‘Beware the Sappertalk, my child!
Beware the Rampling Dot, and shun
the maws that flap, the tweets e’en mild,
o’erpious Pêtians, every one.
So frake your heartened hard now addened,
Papered prayers lay lacquered flumb.
Snicker-snack again the morrow.
Off to rumpled bed; be done.
